Bart Fokkens is a qualified Environmental Manager and holds a Higher Diploma Forestry Conservation from Saasveld Forestry College, now part of Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.

Bart Fokkens is no stranger to Environmental Management, having spent 8 years as a Conservation Manager. Bart has more than 15 years of experience in environmental management

Before joining DUCT in January 2011, Bart worked for himself founding in 1990 and running Splashy Fen Music Festival until 2002, after which he stepped down from the management team. He also started his own computer rental company in 1991which he still runs as a sideline today.
